Why TES?

TES’s training differs from other seminaries in the extent to which it melds together academic rigor with resident ministry responsibility. The program exposes students to every important ministry dynamic, shaping their skills in applying truth to the full spectrum of pastoral challenges.

The nature and size of TES’s classes encourage an intimacy, accountability, and cultivation of character that other seminaries cannot easily duplicate. TES’s 4-year course of study, a rich blend of education and pastoral experience within a local church setting, provides an invaluable ministerial apprenticeship.

Students are discipled to become sincere men of God that integrate spiritual truth into all aspects of life. Character development is emphasized so that holiness and godly relationships become the norm. Graduates will be equipped to serve skillfully as under-shepherds of Christ’s flock, humbly discharging their pastoral responsibilities while boldly declaring the full counsel of God.

By extending the program a full year beyond what is typical elsewhere, TES provides substantially more time for the intensive mentoring, leadership training, and ministry experience that are its hallmarks. Despite the substantial time required outside the classroom, teachers and students gravitate toward this approach because it maximizes the flow of experience and insight from seasoned pastors to future shepherds.
